Ongoing Project

Talent deserves a chance.

Not every student starts from the same line.

Our sponsorship supports the top students from school Sadiq Khafour: young people from modest families who show what they can do when given the chance. We cover registration fees, run tutoring sessions, organise learning excursions, and lead social awareness activities. And we follow up, year after year.

The Programme

One hundred and twenty students helped

The sponsorship programme works in cohorts of twenty. Each cycle, school Sadiq Khafour selects the top students from families with limited means. No lottery, no guesswork: the choice falls on young people who already prove what they can do when the circumstances allow it. We have now reached over one hundred students across multiple cohorts.

The programme lasts four years, covering the full secondary school period. And it does not stop at the school gate. Students who move on to the lyceum continue to receive support through a dedicated fund. The guidance grows with the student.

What we do
Private Tutoring

Three times a week. The subjects that matter.

Three times a week, paid external teachers give extra classes in core subjects. Maths, French, and other areas where the gap is felt most. Not because the students are weak. But because the system is not always level, and we want to give them a head start.

The teachers come from outside the school. They are paid for their work. That is deliberate: quality has a cost, and we believe local teachers deserve fair pay for the time and expertise they bring.

Learning Excursions

The world beyond the classroom

Learning does not stop at the school door. We organise learning excursions that expose students to the broader world: museums, cultural sites, businesses. Not as a day out, but as a targeted experience. Young people who understand where they come from and what exists beyond their village ask better questions and make better choices.

The excursions are also a moment to be together outside the pressure of tests and report cards. They build cohesion within the group and show students that they are part of something bigger than their own class.

Social Awareness

More than earning diplomas

We are not trying to create academic robots. We want to develop young people who think about the world around them and take an active part in it. Beach cleanups are a concrete example: students see the pollution with their own eyes, tackle it themselves, and experience what organised action can mean for a community.

These activities build character. Students learn to work together, take responsibility, and understand that their actions affect others. Those are not soft skills. Those are the skills that make a difference in a life.
